Kesh

Kesh was able to stop by, it is weird not to see her more often. While we were living together, we were blessed with daily interaction and now its like once a month or so we see each other. Life changes quickly.

Sisters and children

On September 4th we sisters all got together and enjoyed some laughts. Adam, Heather's oldest son, is really into soccer. And both boys love super heros as you can see! It is hard to believe they have grown up so.
They were quite cute, when they first saw Elizabeth they would not come within 5 feet of her, they were literally going in circles around her! As the day progressed they gained more comfort with her and in the end Adam would let her sit on his lap =)

Colorado State Fair

Waunetta took the three of us to the State Fair. It was a wonderful time, there was a great deal of rain, as is tradition for our Colorado Fairs! We saw all kinds of animals including seals and sharks! It is so special to have family time.

Celebrating returing soldiers

Celebrating returning soldiers on a beautiful sunny day. The planes kept gong over head while the soldiers and bands marched forward.

Time with Grandma Bacon

Mom came up from Beulah to send time with me and Elizabeth. We had a lovely time together, spent the morning chatting then around noon/evening we went up to Bear Creek Park and went for a short walk. It is a very sweet place to walk. There are several little trails so you can walk just the length you want. Also there are many birds, one cannot see them but the beautiful voices fill the air.

A day at Rampart Resivor

On a Saturday morning we three went up to Rampart and had ourselves a little picnic! It is a very beautiful place to spend the morning. It is only 17 miles from Garden of the Gods but it takes about an hour beacuse the road is so curvy and bumpy.

Time with Mom!

We went for a walk up at Lake Isable. It was such a beautiful day, they really mantain the area's very well. Elizabeth enjoys being outside so very much. Mom and I had such a wonderful time talking and sharing our lives and ideas.

When we were at Westcliff we stopped at the coffee/icecream shop. Elizabeth learned to stick out her toungh to taste. She had never learned that until she wanted some chocolate ice cream!

She maked us laugh with all of her looks and the fact that you can see her learning and trying to make sense of it all. What a miricale God made when he made us all!

Mary Kay

I am now an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay! I have been running my business for about 1 month. I have really been enjoying it. It is challanging to learn and get out there and meet new ladies. But that is one of the reasons I joined is to make myself get out there and learn new things. When researching Mary Kay Ash and her company it is wonderful to learn what an amazing lady she was and what high standerds she set for herself and her company, not to menchen the vision she had for women everywhere. It is very inspiring!

Our children

Baby Elizabeth and her brother Fitzgerald
Elizabeth is now rolling over several times in a row. She can move over 6 feet by rolling around on the floor. So much for leaving her on the bed alone any more! And we are vaccuming the floor almost daily for she is also gumming everything in reach. She is rolling over from back to tummy both right and left and tummy to back left and right. But rolling from back to tummy on her left is harder for her as she has not learned to pull in her left arm, so it works as a wedge making it difficult. She is learning everything so fast, making new noises are her delight.
